Sharing experiences of blogging, nostalgia and place

15th October 2013 by Sarah Hartley

A couple of blogposts in other places that could be of interest to followers of this blog to flag up for you today:

– over at the n0tice blog, I talk to three people who’ve found that nostalgia has engaged people with their blogs and activity. Pauline from Drimnagh is Good, Tal colleague William Perrin from Kings Cross Environment and Caroline Bannock from the Guardian’s community team were good enough to spare me some time and consider the power of the past.

– ahead of our upcoming work together on Teesside, Emma Bearman of the CultureVultures blog gives a personal view of her blogging journey and the importance of writing about the place she loves. She attempts to distill some lessons from it all here.
