A little while ago I did a short interview with Lucie Kerley of the MACE Full Circle project. Covering the East and West Midlands regions, it looks to ’realise the potential of films and videos currently hidden away in attics and sheds in your community’ and make them accessible. I spoke to Lucie about how she felt community websites could help ‘uncover the hidden filmed heritage of the Midlands’ and how this might result in some great historical content for hyperlocal sites.
Lucie recently paid a visit to community group The Tuesday Club in Digbeth, Birmingham to introduce them the project, some footage of which is above. If you would like to talk to Lucie about the Full Circle Project, telephone her on 0116 252 5931 or email lk99@le.ac.uk.
