This weekend we’ve been talking about arts, culture and place as part of a series of events we’re doing on Teesside in conjunction with the CultureVultures blog.
This Saturday saw us at the impressive Dundas House studios in Middlesbrough where the main focus of the day was to look the different platforms available to get people connected online and share some experiences from elsewhere in the UK. We looked at many of the great hyperlocal sites as well as examples of more culture focussed websites, blogs, Facebook pages and Twitter.
There isn’t an overarching digital presence for the area (yet) but maybe that some seeds of inspiration were sown at the event……..
In the meantime, we’re busy collecting together lots of shareable content using the hashtag #noticeTees. If you’re interested in joining us with that, we going to be using and tracking that hashtag for the next events and sessions too. There’s already plenty of pictures, two videos and heap of tweets and an audio clip.
Below is an attempt to capture the main story of the day using Storify and links to the raw content can all be found on the project noticeboard www.teesvalley.n0tice.com too so that it can be used across other blogs and platforms under a share and attribution creative commons licence.
