Cardboard Cameron, Clegg and Brown

15th April 2010 by William Perrin

The life sized David Cameron in my living room is doing my head in.  The cut out i made for an election night party is constantly striding towards me with a cheery grin, and is freaky in your peripheral vision. This morning I hid him in a cupboard – also to protect him from some Labour-ish friends that are coming around.

The life size cardboard cut I made with www.mycutouts.co.uk is eerily good.  Ready-made I could only find a life size cardboard cut out of Gordon Brown, so for David Cameron I had to use my awful photoshop skills on a freely available image from the Conservative party’s Flickr stream and send it off to Mycutouts.  Delighted with the Cameron cut out, I’ve just sent off Nick Clegg having found a pic of him on the Lib Dem Flickr stream and photoshopped it.  Then we’ll have a full set – I’m not doing Griffin.

If you are having a local election night party you can get anyone done through this service – you just need a decent sized image.  Here are the photoshopped versions of  Cameron and Clegg I sent off. I can’t vouch for the Clegg one yet – haven’t had it back – but the Cameron one turned out nicely.

I want my own full set for my own election night party! In Liverpool.

Can you put all the images and website links and costs somewhere?

You can get the whole set at http://www.cardboardcutout.net for £69.99 and have been able to for ages… You didn’t need to get them specially made.
