Hello! you have arrived at this page because you have been, are going to be or are actually in a talk about local training session.

So first things first, this page will have all the links and things you will need before & during the training session. The training is pretty laid back and interactive and you will be making your own website as part of the session!

Adobe Connect

At Talk About Local we use Adobe Connect to deliver the online training, we have had some technical difficulties in the past so we advise that you test your system to make sure that you can join the session. You can do this be following this link (opens in a new window).

This page will test your system to make sure that it is able to connect to to our training sessions and also has FAQ section which will help you with any problems you may have.

Please make sure you test your system before joining the session as trying to get speakers of microphones working during the session is not ideal.

If you have Apple devices such as iPhone or iPad you can download a mobile version of Adobe Connect from the iTunes store.

If you have an Android device you can download the Adobe Connect from the Android Market.

If you have a BlackBerry you can download Adobe Connect from the BlackBerry App World.

Apps for other devices may be available, please ask your favourite search engine

We do not recommend or support using the mobile apps for our interactive training sessions as you may have difficulties with some of the tasks you will be required to complete in the session.
